Hello, and welcome to easysideincome.com, if you're anything like me you look at all the information about making money online and it's all start a business and the rest of it and that terrifies you, you don't really want to start a business.
What you want is a way of making a bit of extra money, and believe me, it's easy to pick up little projects that can make you a significant extra amount of money for not a huge amount of work or a huge investment.
There are lots of ideas which if you want to scale them up you can turn into a business, but you don't have to. It can be a pickup and drop thing.
There are projects that take a few weeks to put together but can give you a nice chunky payout, there are other projects that will drip along and produce a few hundred, two-three hundred pounds a month for very very little work at all.
A couple of hours to set them up and off you go, all you need to do is 10 minutes a day and you can keep them running, these sorts of things are marvellous and they're not that hard to find if you know where to look.
I’ll be honest, I'm a bit of an internet flutterby I’ll try a bit of this and a bit of that, a bit of the next thing. if somebody has suggested it, I’ve probably tried it.
Some of these work some of them don’t, some of them don’t suit my personality because they are just too intense. Others well, I don’t want to spend 10 hours a day in front of a computer.
Saying that, for the last 8 years I’ve made enough online to pay my bills, the shocking admission, there has been a couple of projects that I’ve given to my teenage kids and they’ve made more from them than I ever did.
Simply because they get them up and keep them going because to them it's what pays for their luxuries whereas for me I’ve made enough to pay the bills.
I’d pick something up, make the cash and put it down, and put my feet up for a few days, weeks, months even, because I’d made enough to be able to relax.
Now, I'm beginning to take it seriously for the first time and actually turn it into a business, bringing all the strands together, all the little things that I do.
I was in the license trade for years and I loved setting up pubs, I loved getting them going, I just adored it.
I loved the social aspect, but running the damn thing! ugh! I’d pay someone else to do the paperwork, bring in a manager and sit back, the only time I had to get involved was if there was a problem.
Now, that’s how I like my life to run and with these things they’re mostly passive mostly things that you can spend a bit of time setting up and once it's running it just runs and it's lovely.
Isn’t that what you want too? An extra source of income that you can put the effort in to get it going and then just let it tick over slowly.
Some of these grow almost invisibly, almost magically, the amount you get from them keeps getting bigger. it's lovely, if you get the right thing.
